Dactyl Manuform Build Kit (Wired or Wireless)
This kit includes the basic minimum hardware needed to build yourself a spiffy Dactyl Manuform keyboard. These are the base essential bits needed across any build. I offer a base kit with no controllers, a kit with 2 Pi Pico controllers, and a kit with two Super Micro nRF52840 controllers (for ZMK wireless builds). The wireless controller option includes extra hardware and is $30 more than the pico kit options.
The Base Kit includes:
2 meters solid-core wire.
30 cm ribbon cable wire with 16 wires and female dupont connectors at each end.
14 M3 brass inserts
14 M3 8mm screws
2 USB-C Breakouts
1 Micro-USB cable
1 USB-C to USB-C cable
The Pi Pico Kit includes:
Everything in the Base Kit.
2 Pi Pico controllers with separate headers.
2 Pi Pico Controller Mounts with USB-C breakout slot
The Super Micro Kit includes:
Everything in the Base Kit.
2 Super Micro nRF52840 controllers with separate headers.
2 Super Micro mounts with slots for power switch and reset switch.
2 slide power switches.
2 push button reset switches.
2 AAA battery holders with positive and negative wires. They can fit 10440 Lithium Ion batteries.
Other Options:
100 1N4148 standard through-hole or SOD 123 diodes.
100 Kailh hot swap sip sockets.
SOD 123 diodes may be necessary for some PCB-based builds, as with my Amoeba Kings or some flexible PCBs.
This kit pairs well with my trackball kit and Amoeba Kings.

The USB-C breakouts and cable are for the interconnect between the halves.
Note that we no longer offer TRRS jacks or cables. We no longer use them in our builds and strongly recommend not using them for split keyboard builds.
